MMA Events Stoke-on-Trent – GPUK
MMA Events Stoke-on-Trent come alive with GPUK – Gladiator Promotions UK and its Night of the Gladiators fight nights. Established in 2009, GPUK provides a respected platform where developing amateur fighters and experienced professional competitors can showcase their skills in front of a live audience.
Additionally, each event brings together fighters, coaches, gyms and supporters for an exciting night of mixed martial arts. Most importantly, GPUK gives local talent the opportunity to compete, gain experience and build a future in the sport.
Night of the Gladiators Fight Nights
Night of the Gladiators showcases the complete sport of MMA. Spectators can see striking, wrestling, takedowns, ground control and submissions inside the cage. In addition, every contest gives fighters the chance to test their preparation against a suitable opponent.
GPUK aims to create competitive bouts based on factors such as experience, weight, age, record and the agreed rules. Therefore, coaches and fighters should provide accurate information when discussing a potential match.
For upcoming fight-night dates, announcements and ticket availability, visit the official Gladiator Promotions UK website or go directly to the GPUK ticket shop.
A Pathway from the Gym to the Cage
Competition begins with consistent training. As a result, Gladiator MMA prepares members through structured coaching in boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, submission grappling and complete mixed martial arts.
First, new fighters must build strong technical foundations, fitness and discipline. Next, they develop through controlled sparring and focused competition preparation. When a fighter is ready, the coaching team can discuss suitable opportunities and the responsibilities that come with representing the gym.

Founded by UFC Veteran Ross Pointon
GPUK was founded by Ross “The Gladiator” Pointon, a UFC veteran, world champion and lifelong martial artist. Because Ross has competed at the highest level, he understands the preparation, pressure and support that fighters need before entering the cage.
Moreover, that experience helps GPUK provide a clear pathway for athletes who want to progress in mixed martial arts. You can read more about Ross Pointon’s fighting and coaching career.
